Anglesea Pink Ribbon Luncheon

It was lovely to see many familiar Kithbrooke faces at a recent Pink Ribbon Foundation event!

On the 12th of October, the Anglesea Lionesses hosted their annual Pink Ribbon luncheon at the Anglesea Bowls Club. It was a wonderfully successful event, with a full house of glamorous ladies wearing their own take on ‘a touch of pink’ and enjoying some pink champagne. Local businesses and individuals were incredibly generous in their donations of prizes for the raffle, contributing to the day’s success.

20 of our residents travelled to the event and helped in raising over $4000. They all had a great time and enjoyed the food and listening to the guest speakers including Surfcoast Shire Mayor, Libby Stapleton.

All proceeds raised went to Breast Cancer Research and the organisers said it was so beautiful to have such a successful day after a three-year hiatus due to Covid.

You can take a look at some more photos of the day on the Surf Coast Community Bank Facebook page.
