Alison is another wonderful maker in our midst. Not only does she have a talent for tantalising the tastebuds with her baking and preserves, she also creates beautiful knitted items - just look at the pictures!
With Christmas only weeks away she’s been busy baking her Christmas cakes, rum balls, choc/almond roll and Christmas fruit & nut bar.
She said she swears by the recipes in the Sue Ruchel cookbook on Preserves and Other Country Kitchen Secrets.
So that we can experience some of the deliciousness ourselves, she has very kindly allowed us to share her famous Green Tomato Pickle and Quince Jelly recipes, so take note and enjoy!
