The Surf Coast real estate market during the COVID-19 phase has remained strong during June, July, and August 2020.
According to Tim Carson from McCartney Real Estate Torquay: “We have recorded strong sales in Torquay and Jan Juc during the past three months with a number of local people looking to upgrade their current home as well as people from Melbourne looking for either a home or holiday home on the Surf Coast. We have also seen a recent trend in people looking to buy homes that would have normally gone overseas or interstate.”
Now seems the right time for retirees to consider selling, especially those looking to downsize or find a more practical designed home for today’s needs. Evidence has shown that many retirees in the area can sell their home at a high price, buy the new property they may have always thought about, and end up with extra surplus income in the bank.
Luxury two- and three-bedroom villas at Kithbrooke Park Country Club offer the latest in design with stylish European kitchens, open plan living, plenty of storage, ensuite and second bathroom for guests and large al fresco spaces in the yard for entertaining family and friends.
Villas are positioned in a 50-acre secure gated landscaped setting, with walk paths, waterways, bowls green, chip and putt green and gazebos. The Clubhouse hosts a range of facilities including four heated-indoor swimming pools, fully equipped gymnasium, coffee shop, lounges, entertainment areas, library, sports lounge, hairdressing, beauty, and physiotherapy.
